Accommodation in stylish cottages – traditional Czech holiday
We build on the popularity of second homes among our people. With us, anyone who doesn't own the cottage but is fond of Czech rural areas and folk architecture, can try this hobby. And of course also those who know this way of spending free time and only want to discover other places and picturesque spots of our country.
Charming cottages are intended especially for admirers and fans of village folk architecture, who are also incorrigible romantic, enthusiastic cross-country skiers or passionate recreational cyclists. And it is also an ideal choice for families with children, whom it offers uninterrupted privacy, cozy and comfortable atmosphere in the reconstructed and scented cottages. During the reconstruction, we tried to respect and to the maximum extent possible maintain the original features of the rural cottage. The interiors are furnished mostly with renovated old folk furniture, which mostly served in individual cottages already earlier.
The houses are renewed, but still - they still remain only the old cottages. Everything should have been different, if we have constructed a new houses, but the "rules" have been settled hundred years ago. Today something could seem to be useless and comfortless. But we ask you for understanding and generosity for our old rural cottages constructed hundreds years ago...
That's why the accomodation by us is a bit different - and very romantic....

Just do not expect a TV set in our cottages - but you will certainly not miss it.
In our offer you can choose the timbered cottage in Kváskovice u Drážova (first hills of Šumava), which is listed. The village Kváskovice u Drážova itself is a rural conservation area. And another cottage, also timbered house in the village Újezdec, on the edge of Český ráj is situated in a rural conservation area. Rural conservation areas are at least partial guarantee of intact folk architecture, which is nowadays more and more rare. Time just flies at its speed and few people have time and inclination to deal with the rural tradition.
And if you want to find yourself at the very end of the world, or at least at the very end of the Czech Republic, we have for you a newly reconstructed cottage in the village with a romantic name Václavov. There are many villages named Václavov in our country, this one is located in the wider area called Česká Kanada, close to Slavonice and thus on the border with our Austrian neighbours. Not only military fortification from the period before World War II, which is located in its surroundings, reminds us of recent times ...
